# Blason

> A medieval real-time strategy game in the browser, inspired by OpenFront: twenty-four lords on a land drawn anew each game, or on a map of the Earth, take it from one another tile by tile. Peasants hold the land and are raised as armies, gold pays for works, rivers and seas are crossed by boat, alliances are short, traitors are marked, merchants carry gold along their roads between markets. Played online in the public game with up to twenty-four players, or in a game you create, alone against bots or with friends invited by a code; the simulation is deterministic, the relay passing the orders in lockstep. Free software under the AGPL-3.0.

## The game

- Three armies raised from the peasants: the raid (10 %), the host (25 %), the levy (50 %), as many as you like, ten men at the least, the bigger the slower. Each sets out at the border nearest the click, crossing water by boat, and takes the land before it, its bulge curved by the ground.
- Four works: villages feed the peasants; markets send the caravans that bring the gold; castles make their land fight one for one; ports send ships to sea. The first village is free; a work takes time to build.
- Land encircled by one lord alone passes to him.
- Alliances last five minutes; breaking one marks the breaker a traitor for thirty seconds.
- A lord wins with 80 % of the land, a share that drops from the tenth minute until someone holds it.
