Eleven new maps
North and South America, Africa, the Middle East, Asia, China, India, the United States, Spain, Germany and Italy join the map picker. Their relief, coasts, rivers and ground come from real data of the Earth. The world map gains an Arctic all in snow and its great rivers whole.

An end of game you can feel
As a side nears the share that wins, a banner and a horn say so. Close to the goal, a drum beats, the screen's edge pulses and the leader's land lights up. At victory, the camera draws back over the whole map before the end's sheet.

Sieges to defend, boats to aim at
A click on the besiegers or on your castle sends your army out, and a second army can join a siege instead of vanishing. Enemy boats can be aimed at where you see them.

Truer movements
Boats no longer leap across the map, and each sails its half of the way before fighting. When an army turns on another foe, its ranks wheel round instead of flipping at a stroke.
The rest
Teams take the shades of one colour, and their bots bear their name. Allies' names are written in green and their land is easier to spot. Full screen moves to the settings. Building prices no longer have a ceiling, and those you take count too.
